ICIM Digestive Assessment is used to help identify patients underlying cause for their digestive related symptoms.
Many patients present at ICIM Medics with symptoms from bloating to flatulence to indigestion, bowel changes, low energy levels, skin complaints, allergies – all of which can be connected to digestive related problems. Patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn’s disease and/or Ulcerative colitis (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), Food Allergies, and Colitis may find assistance at ICIM.
Through carefully selecting appropriate methods from gut fermentation testing, stool analysis, ICIM Blood Analysis, Allergy Testing, gut permeability testing, CTI (Computerised Thermographic Imaging), ultrasound examinations, Helicobacter pylori breath testing, Coeliac blood serum testing, the underlying cause to patients complaints may be uncovered.

We advise patients to come fasting for 3 hours and drink no alcohol for 24 hours.
Should patients wish to have cholesterol levels checked 12 hour fasting would be required.

The Digestive Assessment involving testing will include a consultation with the ICIM Nurse and Specialist GP if ultrasound examinations are required.
