Pre-Diabetes Assessment

ICIM  Medics Pre-Diabetes Assessment is an assessment to evaluate your risk of developing diabetes. Pre-diabetes is a state that occurs when your blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not high enough to diagnose diabetes. People with pre-diabetes are unable to break down sugars in their body, and 50% of these people go on to develop diabetes within 5 years.

ICIM Medics use the Pre-Diabetes Assessment to evaluate patients risk and to monitor those already diagnosed with pre-diabetes. Once we have identified if you have pre-diabetes our Nurse can offer lifestyle counselling to prevent the onset of diabetes.
