Description:
Uva ursi was traditionally used for its astringent properties and is considered of great value in treating diseases of the bladder and kidneys, strengthening the urinary passages and alleviating inflammation of the urinary tract. It is useful in treating chronic diarrhoea, cystitis, urethritis and prostatitis.

Contra-Indications, Cautions and Interactions:
Not suitable for use during pregnancy or lactation. This herb interacts with many medicinal drugs and should therefore only be used as directed by a qualified professional.
